By mistake 4 horn players are credited in the booklet for "Quatre Chants Paysans Russes" (tracks 2.13 to 2.16), as in the 1954 revised version of this composition, but actually the version recorded here is the original a cappella version of 1914-17. Track 2.20 ("Madrid") has been performed on a pianola built by Rex Lawson in 1978-80.
