Century Media Records. Arch Enemy have managed to pull off the feat twice, first switching from Johan Liiva to Angela Gossow in 2000, and then from Gossow to Alissa White-Gluz in 2014. They were an underground band when the switch to Gossow was made, but a lot had changed by the time of the next switch. Because Arch Enemys new album is meant to pump you up, remind you that youre worth something, goddammit, and propel you toward acts of devastating awesomeness that will prove your worth to all the meany-pantsed naysayers who arent as special as they think they are, you know, on the inside. Thats all pretty damned cynical. Will To Power includes another new addition in the line-up, with that being ex-Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis. While the entire record is an instrumental treat, the most powerful aspects are the guitar work of Loomis and Michael Amott. The combination brings the music back to that classic Arch Enemy sound, that while White-Gluz provides her own style, she also channels a vocal inflection that is reminiscent of Angela Gossow's work. First Day In Hell takes on a new approach that drops the tempo down, giving a militant-like sound
